La Lohuas Gites in Brittany

These are the directions to get to La Lohuas gites. For route planning see Getting to the area.

The farmhouse and gites are near to Dinan and set back on the east side of the local D2 road, approximately mid way between Lanvallay and Evran. Look out for our sign on the road.

From the North and East (St Malo, Cherbourg, Caen, Le Havre)

• Take the N137 (St Malo to Rennes main road). Follow this road for approximately 15 miles from St Malo or just 8 miles from the N176 Caen to Dinan main road.
• Bear off at the junction for Plesder.
• Bear right over the main road towards Plesder and after about 1 mile turn left at the T-junction into Plesder. Go straight through Plesder in the direction of Evran. Ignore the signs to Les Champs Geraux.
• After about 2 miles you will reach a T-junction with the D2 just on the outskirts of Evran. Turn right onto the D2 away from Evran, towards Lanvallay.
• Ignoring any signs for Les Champs Geraux, carry along the D2 for just over 2 miles. La Lohuas gites can be found on the right hand side on this road, shortly after a house called L'Oiseux Bleu.

From the West (Dinan, Brest, Roscoff)

• Go into Dinan and follow the signs for Lanvallay.
• Come out of Dinan across the viaduct and into Lanvallay.
• At the first set of traffic lights turn right into Lanvallay.
• Carry on through Lanvallay on the D2 towards Evran.
• Go through Tressaint. Carry on along the D2 ignoring signs for Les Champs Geraux.
• La Lohuas gites will be found less that 1 mile on your left after Tressaint. It is quite difficult to spot from this direction. You will see a stone barn backing onto the road as you go around a sweeping bend to your left, turn left immediately into La Lohuas.

From the South (Rennes)

• Take the N137 to St Malo.
• After approximately 20 miles take the turning for Plesder.
• Bear left towards Plesder and after about 1 mile turn left at the T-junction into Plesder. Go straight through Plesder in the direction of Evran. Ignore the signs to Les Champs Geraux.
• After about 2 miles you will reach a T-junction with the D2 just on the outskirts of Evran. Turn right onto the D2 away from Evran, towards Lanvallay.
• Ignoring any signs for Les Champs Geraux, carry along the D2 for just over 2 miles. La Lohuas gites can be found on the right hand side on this road, shortly after a house called L'Oiseux Bleu.
