Perhaps the easiest way to get to Brittany is by car via the cross-channel ferry, An alternative would be to fly, the nearest airport being Dinard. You don't have to bring your own car, as car rental is quite cheap. Flying or coming as a foot passenger then hiring a car may workout cheaper and quicker, especially in the low season.

One advantage of bringing the car is the ability to purchase cheap wine and beer, just don't forget to leave room for the passengers.
