Set in rural farmland of over four acres, La Lohuas has a several discreet outside areas within it’s boundaries. Each with it’s own attraction and character.
The most popular with children is the fenced and secure play area, which has been designed to ensure that children can “let their hair down” without disturbing the other guests. Here we have a huge open-fronted barn with children’s toys, sandpit and a table tennis table. An ideal distraction if ever it rains, but with the added bonus of being shaded from the sun on the hottest of days. Next to the barn is a large lawned area with a 14 foot trampoline, swings, slide, see-saw and football and badminton nets.
There are gardens with a croquet lawn, a hammock suspended under the walnut trees and a little walk behind the chicken pen takes you down to our woodland fairy grotto, where you can listen to the birds singing and the babbling brook. There is a little stream at the bottom with a bridge, where you can play “pooh-sticks”.
